I am about* to fit an aluminium plenum & 52mm throttle body onto my car there are lot's of sensors and tubes poking out of the thing. What do all the sensors do, DO they all get used in a 98 car ?

Not all alloy plenums are the same .. what engine did the plenum come off (or take some reasonably hi-res pictures and post them up).

Re: Plenum
The flangey bit at one end it for the S2 MAP/MAT sender and needs blanking but you need a pressure tapping for the MAP sender somewhere.

Re: Plenum
I'd think it was m4 or m5 but I can't remember! My manifold still had the sender on it so I left it there!

Re: Plenum
Blank off the MAP sensor hole.
Use one of the take-offs below it for the MAP sensor and the other for the pressure reg.
Obviously bung the servo take-off.
Charcoal canister vacuum take-off, IACV and TB connections are all as per the plastic plenum.
