Anyone have heating gear or industrial size air gun ( 1" drive etc ..).
I have a hub nut that won't come off, starting to round the hub nut with a breaker bar and 5ft poll. I have removed the hub with C.V joint attached, so can transport it anywhere.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Campbell.
Although, nothing wrong with angle grinders. It was the tit using it that was to blame. I have a fear of them now anyway, even the noise gives me flash backs.

Bad news is you may have to drill and chisel it off...
I had one that we tried inch-drive gear with and even used a welder to heat it up, but it would not shift... Drill, steady hand and a chisel to split - took fooking ages though.

Im hoping it doesn't come to that Shug. I've heated them with oxy acetylene until the nut is red hot, thats usually enough to get them moving.
It's only been on 4 days

i'm not fit to do the work myself so Cheez (big ginger mate) gave me a hand. I don't have a torque wrench that goes up that high (never have) so told him to give it a good tighten. I forgot he's over 6ft and double my weight and there is a big difference between my tight and his.

LOL, you will know better the next time
Sorry for cheap grinder dig, btw, just came out too fast. I didn't fancy using one before your encounter, now I categorically never will as I am bound to be an even bigger t!t than you when it comes to using such equipment
