Exige Suspension

I'm in the process of fitting Nitrons to my 04 exige and will have the standard suspension spare, whats the going rate for dampers and springs ?

Think you can get them new on the bay for about £90 each.

Martin (Lazy Donkey) bought some for his VX a few years back so may be able to tell you what he paid.

I have got rear Bilsteins spare too ( or at least I hope I have -forgot to pick them up when I collected the car

)

Erica just bought a full set of barely used (ie taken off a brand new Exige being race converted) for around 350. Typically now this shows up, and the set in classifieds
I shall be on VXige conversion duties this weekend weather dependant.

Before you fit them, jack up the exige and watch the rear wheel as you do it. See how much the wheel droops on the before being lifted off the ground when the standard suspension is fitted. When you've fitted your nitrons, do the same thing. If it's like my car, you will have nearly no rear droop travel. I would be interested to know what the difference in rear droop is.
