Currently running the Yoko A048's but off to road trip round Europe in June and need some more std tread.
I started by throwing a pair of Bridgestone RE040 on the rear (225.45.17 - same size as the Yoko's) but they just look odd!! They don't fill the arches!!
Did a bit of head scratching and find the tread width different - even though the tyres are the same size:-
AO48's = 225 wide
RE040's = ~200 wide
Why should this be?
Can I put 245's on?
What will the aspect ratio need to be?
If anybody else has gone through same, appreciate any advice.

If they're the same size then they should be the same size.....I've got Kumho KU31s on the back of mine at the moment and they look fine
