Anyone have any advice on Duelfuel Vans ie Petrol and LPG?

My run around packed in last month with diesel pump failure so now looking for an astravan . Budget 2k so looking at high milage . Seen a few , one in particluar is decent but has the 1.6 DuelFuel Engine which I have absolutly no clue about . Seems to good to be true , whats the catch ? what should I look out for on an engine with 90k miles ? Expensive repair bills ?

Cheers .

A couple of the lads at Lachies work are useing them ~I did try and direct him (Lachie)here to post
From what they/he said £ for £ they get 75mpg from the origional Vaux dual fuel Astras as opposed to 50-55 on a normal Petrol astra
After market conversions generally more troublesome than the origional Vauxhall Dual fuel one
The car has a 40 ltr tank fitted in the origional spare wheel well while the van has the load bay floor raised by an inch or so to allow a similar capacity gas tank under the floor
One of the lads who stays fairly close to the Moss hardly ever see's it useing anything else other than Gas with the petrol light on just for start up

One just sold his for 1K with 90,000 miles on it

Thanks .

Undecided which to go for , 2 in edinburgh are well cheap one is diesel one is duelfuel. Heard nothing but rave reviews about duel fuel online but still seems to good to be true for me . Its an original vauxhall systm , wouldnt touch anything else .

Would always go diesel in this situation but still have the fear of another diesel pump failure ie ££££ repairs. :(

let you know what I opt for .
