Best oil to use

Was wondering what oil people are using in their toyota powered Exige's especially the 'S' version. I see the owners manual recommends 5w40 but what make etc. The car is used for track work as well as road so looking for something to give that bit of extra protection.

If your car has twin oil coolers then run Silkolene Pro-S 5w-40. If it hasn't I would run Silkolene Pro-R 15w-50.

Its just a standard Exige S, don't know if it runs 1 or 2 oil coolers. Was thinking of using Millers CFS triple ester 10W40 as they recommend this where 5w40 is recommended bt manufacturer. Used Millers on Subaru P1 I tracked and gave best oil pressure out of a few I tried.

Millers CFS is very good oil! I can get it locally for 38 quid too, which beats mailordering other brands anytime!
