blankets. Was sorting out my camping stuff and fouind my emergency foil blankets.
Not Sarah and I had a nightmare trip to the south of france sans roof in the blistering heat a few years back. Even wirh the roof on we were getting toasted.
Would trimming & tacking the emergency blanket to the inside of the roof make much of a diff to cabin temp ?

sanjoy i think to make a difference the blanket would have to be on the outside as the heat would conduct through it.

Is that like a Dtuch oven ?
Farts can bring more excitement into wedlock if administered in a Dutch Oven2: this is where one partner lets go a huge fart, pulls the duvet cover or bed sheets over the head of their loved one, trapping them in a confusion of methane, while shouting triumphantly, 'Dutch oven! Dutch oven!' The person trapped will wriggle like an eel, the trapper will then nearly die laughing and it will all end up in a really boisterous play fight. Of course, this is all in questionable taste.[/i]

This will be Bloke Rule No. 10, then.... I have a pile of these...
10: You may flatulate in front of a woman only after you have brought her to climax. If you trap her head under the covers for the purpose of flatulent entertainment, she is officially your girlfriend.

In order to control cabin temperature you would need to paint the roof white - even then the best you could hope for would be for the air in the cabin to be at ambient temperature of air outside the cabin.
The best way to lose heat is to get wet and drive with the windows down. Suggest lots of water fights in the car ...
Cheers,
