Flexi Downpipe options?!

Post by Scottd » Sun Apr 30, 2006 11:07 pm

Continuing my post winter fixes / cheap upgrades ... the Flexi Downpipe isn't blown but the mesh is typically buggrd at one end.

The stainless option is fairly reasonable at about £120. But Dave made a very good point at Lawrence's Spanners and Sponges day when replacing his with a mild steel one for £50 off eBay. That the original one had lasted 6 years! £50 for 6 years is pretty decent value for money! Haven't seen any more on eBay recently tho. And would that stainless flexi section last much longer anyways!?

cheers

They are a pain when they let you down 100 miles from home ....

I have a spare S/S (used ~1 year old) flexi downpipe for the S1 elise - to you 60GBP.

Cheers,
Robin

OK - well it's at Lawrence's right now - do you want to come collect it or shall we try and organise the pony express - someone is bound to be going over the FRB and beyond in the near future - or you could just bring the car down and we fit it here ...

Let me know what you want to do ... probably best to give me a ring.

Cheers,
Robin
