I have spied a very unloved rover 200 brm sat rusting outside a garage.
That car comes with a VVC engine and close ratio gearbox. I am considering having it for the engine. So do you guys know roughly what it would be worth and would the gearbox drop into an elise?

I paid £185 for a vvc engine a couple of months back, TBH the gearbox would cost more, think the going rate for an B4BPQ box with an LSD is about £500-550.

Thinforth.... the red leather interior (assuming it's good nick) will get £200. The alloy heater controls get between £50-£100. Even the BRM badges sell.
Has it definitely got a c/r box? That wasn't standard on the BRM.... in fact, it was a very looooong 2nd gear on my old BRM (ie, 75mph). If the alloys are good nick, then they will probably sell to an existing BRM owner because mine were bubbling quite a bit...
