Hey Guys,
I'm wanting to remove the rear grills so i can re-paint them (they're all rusty).
Is it easy enough to do by yourself??

It should just be a few (2 per side) phillips screws, but they may be equally rusty.
I am sure steve_weegie would offer to lend a hand

I know
But should I let Steve PM me so that he can be a knight in shining armour??????
Basically what you want to do it remove the top phillips screw, then you need to undo the rear diffuser bolts - two on each side IIRC you can leave the really awkward one that's underneath still attached and loosen off the three that attach to the number plate plinth (this is to give you some room to move)
At the "pointy end" it hooks into the clam and at the blunt end (nearest the numberplate) it has two prongs. So, you want to slide it all away from the number plate until you disengage the two prongs and swing it out towards the rear of the car which will disengage the wee hook.
A doddle.
Mac
PS: It's a good idea to give your tailpipe a good going over, with these out there's a lot more access!
