Lubricate your bonnet hinge!

Mine jammed and then fell away as the old rivets parted company with the clam...

The hinge is agricultural to say the least and relys on bolts moving in nylon bushes. A bit of ptfe spray grease would have prevented this, so a lesson to you all:

There is always time for lubrication!

I have just wet assembled it with sikaflex and then used highlock rivets borrowed from work to mend it, should be good and solid forever now.

Yep - another piece of Lotarse engineering. Stu tidyed mine a good deal as it went when my car was with him, getting the engine done.
