Front fuse box wiring loom - s1 elise

Post by s333fee » Tue Nov 27, 2007 11:10 am

Hi all,

this is just for your info, when we took off the front clam and lifted the passenger side wheel arch liner we found that the wiring has been rubbing on the front strucutre and has worn through some of the wiring down to the copper cores. this will cause shortign and therefore problems so you might want to check your own cars.

Will try to upload fotos later.

it is on the underside of the wiring as it crosses the bulkhead to get to the fuse box mounted on the wing / arch liner so you will need to look under it.

some rubbing on the bodywork is also visible where it has been chaffing looks like arking
