MIL light is on !

light came on tonight after I overtook someone in second gear , reved all the way to bout 7500 - 8000.
It is on continuously and did not flash or anything .

was there post on this recently someone could kindly direct me to ?

any other advice?

Torch it

Get it over to Murrays or nearest place with a OBDII thingmy and read out the code - I'm kind of busy at present but someone will be able to help if you post up the codes ...

cool will do that ASAP , is it safe to drive it carefully at the moment then ?

Check your oil just in case - long story. I am sure that the manual advises you exactly what to do depending upon whether the light flashes etc

I'll sell you the MIL resistor for the Cat By Pass for £15
Once thats wired in, the light will never come on again!

PS- Sorry - being synical.
