bike rack?

I know what you're thinking. Well, my new job means I am spending half my time away from home - so I'm thinking of finally getting an Elise. The only thing that is so far stopping me is the lack of ability to carry my mountain bike around. Or is it? I could otherwise use it as my only car.
Is there a rack or something that can work? I might become an Elise owner yet! (if a rack is available - who wants to buy a Corrado
)

RDH spotted one with a bike rack on the back the other day so definately possible, you`d maybe have to try a few and see what works, but somone has done it!

ok cool that sounds promising.
Had a look at the unique racks - quite interesting. Although making 2 small holes and paying $1500 before tax and cutting the rear shell is a little beyond what I'm comfortable with...

To put a towbar on an Elise, would you need to try to apply for some kind of SVA? Or could you just "do it"?
Some of the larger undertay bolts sit in some very strong parts of the subframe...if Stu's rear towing eyes can fit on there with success, for purposes of dragging the Elise out of the kitty litter backwards, any reason you couldn't set it up for pulling a wee trailer with bike racks installed therein?!

Had a bike rack on my S1.
I have the elise parts boot rack and a bike mount goes straight on. No cutting required. For S1 only though.

S1 hard top and Halfords MK5 Fiesta roof bars. Straight fit apparently...
