ok guy's how do i get the old badge off the front clamshell of my 2001 S2?
the current badge is chipped and looks cr*p so i want to buy a replacement off hanger111. they cost bugger all but i don't want to crack/scratch my paintwork when i'm using the crowbar to prise the old one off!!
any tips?

but can i take them off?
like are they only glued on and so i'll be able to prise them off? cos the new one comes with two prongs or something?

The new one should be a stick on one too. If it has 2 prongs, it's an enamel S1 badge and you'll have to cut them off.

ok i'll have a look - i just hear they had prongs! but i've got an S2 so it should just be sticky back plastic!

Take the plastic badge off and there are 2 holes in the clam they slip through. You don't need to bolt it on, just stick it on with thin number plate tape. The pins act as good stability and help you line it up in the first place
may be worth checking before you butcher.
