Drivers Seat

It might be my imagination but there seems to be more play (back/Forward) in the drivers seat.
Sometimes I can feel it rocking when braking hard

I've had a quick look round and everything seems to be OK. Is there adjustment in the runners to stop this?

Think the runner/adjuster-lock thing mechanism's a bit Heath-Robinson. Mine has done that since new, 8 years ago. Helps you boogie along to Radio 2 though (if you are Robin)

Mine does this too, but only at 1 adjustment place, or at least I can slide the seat back and forward a couple of times and it usually locks into position, might be worth a try?

Yup - mine does it if it's not locked in place right. Give it a shoogle fore and aft and then try to get the ratchet to engage with a slam.
You do look like you're having a seizure while doing it though....

The shed's seat bolts repeatedly came loose on FF6 (I never did get around to tightening them properly with Loctite (another thing for the list of jobs ed.

).
I ended up being able to tighten them on the move using the allen key for the roof...
...in retrospect probably not the safest thing to do...

What Corranga says - happens in some settings, not in others, so just shorten your leg room a little!

Check the brackets too- one of mine managed to shear- no idea how.
(Got the whole base replaced free recently by those nice people at Hethel- good result as it's well out of warranty
