If you read my first post correctly thats what I Intend to do you fcuk idiot.

I AM NOT PAINTING MY CALIPERS.

rs42 PADS are blue , When fitted INSIDE the CALIPER , the pad is still visible more so at the rear .

So now my car has an ugly blue bit showing inside the rear wheels, which accidently makes my car look , to the untrained eye that I have tryed to paint my calipers. It looks sh*t .

Jesus , do half of you even know what I am talking about ?

Go get yourself some pagids , then you will realise !

Hope one of the mods has had a word with you for calling Thinfourth a fcuk idiot like that and the content of your posts in general....

Here's hoping the mods add "ignore" button to the forum asap so I don't waste any more time reading your drivel again.

I have been called worse m8 . Its only a bit of banter on a forum , nothing personal . Christ have you seen the sh*t I have to deal with ?

Were all big boys sure we can handle it .
All you have to do is to learn that fine line between what is piss taking, friendly banter etc and what is personnel insults

awesome.

As a bona fide (chav translation "real") office type, I've found some of this the funniest ever. I really did roll on the floor and laugh my ass off, I laughed out loud. One day, i hope to buy the shell of an F40, and put a nova engine it, coz its all for the look, innit?

Thats just a stupid idea  why not stick the nova engine in yer s1 ? might be faster ?

You cant possibly beleive that every one buys desirable cars purley for their performance? Get a grip.

Not everyone buys cars to boot them round a track every weekend , the sooner the forum starts to realise that the better.

I appreciate that the majority on here do , but do I have to be a track enthuisiast to buy a lotus exige ? no.

Its a car , I use mines daily. It looks very cool. You dont have to know knockhill like the back or your hand , and have sparco gloves tucked under your pillow before you can fork out on one . The dealer wont mind honestly. He wont think the car is "wasted"

If you are so into "performance" why arent you driving somthing like an top spec evo or subaru ?

lets be honest more basic elises are not that fast , I would even go as far as to say The exige isnt all that I expected performance wise.

But it looks amazing , It wouldnt LOOK out of place next to various supercars. There are not many cars below 30k , that can be said about .

So why is it so wrong to love the s2 exige because of its looks ?

You tell me mr F50 with nova engine ? :?

Having said that , I do want to go faster hence hunting an "s" hopefully soon.

Id maybe say I love my car 55% looks 45% performance , is that a crime ?

Ermmm, basic elises are very quick, a top spec EVO or Subaru will struggle on track or across country against any elise/exige. You would have to go some to shake an S1 Elise.

Well apart from Big D that is

What did you expect performance wise of the Exige?

You should try KH even once I'm sure you'd be hooked. It's the place to safely/legally to get most performance from the car.

Or try a pax with Tut or McKean in their slightly modified S1's

Mate, you're so wrong. You bought a compromised car. Its not comfortable, its not practical. Its not even that cool.

If you're so right, why do you care so much to keep returning to this thread? Haven't you got better places to surf, with cooler people that do less european jaunts, less track days, and more polishing?

Well until you put those pads on! ;)

This place is getting more and more like SELOC every day. Jamie, if you really want to wind people up, you should have posted on there and watched the response.

The lotus elise is not just about performance in a straight line as you must know. You should watch people like tut, andyG and many others on here who manage to do things to their loti that embarass the evo and scooby drivers. Its the driving experience that rewards these owners and not they way it looks.

performance is not a straight line nor does it involve the 0-60 time Go to a track and even as a passenger you might learn something

We do not have to read this thread of course, but it is interesting to meet my alter ego on here.

Jamie obviously never saw N1 TUT in her original glory otherwise he would have had an instant heart attack.........

tut

ps just going off to check the colour of my brake pads, as it would be a bonus if they were blue.
