When I put the plates into the brackets the holes on mine lined up ok too but because of how they are fabricated (bent and then welded) the plates didn't sit snug up to the inside of the brackets, there was a gap of perhaps 1 - 1.5 mm that you can see in the holes. May be I was being a bit of a pedant but it only took 5 mins with a file to take the edges of the plates down a bit so they sat snug.

but maybe B & C have fixed them...was certainly well flagged by the SELOC group buyers at the time.

Geo settings:

Try a search...I'm sure standard, 340R & other settings have been discussed on here before.

Yep,

Your right Baggy, still the same, maybe worse even, the two brackets have different finishes, one has the corners welded, and the other doesn't, (welded at seam). The one without the corners welded is worse, the plate hardly fits in, and has a big gap, maybe 5mm. I'll need to point this out at the garage to see if they can file them down a bit.

Thanks for the heads up Baggy.

Found some info on the Geo setup, but will go with the garage's recommendation.

Cheers,

Wow!

What a difference, feels like a new car, nice & tight, great for cornering at speed. Much stiffer & doesn't bottom out like with the old Koni shox. I would defo recommend the Bilstein S1 to S2 upgrade kit. And Falkland Garage did a brilliant job fitting & setting up the Geo, good price too.

Cheers,
