Had a look at the rack raisers, they would be straight forward to fit, t but hey have a tiny little pop rivet at the bottom and I don't have anything to hand that will fit :(

I'll have a look at work later on.

Gordon's setup is apparently "twitchy" (Says Shug ) on bumpy roads. Will raising the rack height help with that?

Yup. The twitchyness is almost 100% bump steer. My rack is at standard height - doesn't really bother me enough to get into the footwells with a drill....

Had geo checked this am and tracking adjusted, no wonder it felt odd:

It was:

Toe out
Front 0.29 L 0.07 R
Rear 0.07 L 0.1 R

Camber
Front -0.22L -0.18R
Rear -1.47L -1.54R

Now its all lined up in until I get a proper geo sesh.

Toe in
Front 0.0
Rear 0.11

Camber as above

That will do for a bit. Feels much better.

Yep, I take it you didn't get my reply then! Tourque settings are 45Nm, fairly tight, but as all the nuts are nylock efforts they won't come undone. Just make sure that everything is nice and tight and there is no movement in each bolt (Indicting that the nut has run out of thread o the bolt)

Steering rack raisers are not being fitted now as the top 10 mm bolt on the rack is too stiff to move. the 8mm one came straight out. So my steering is staying as it is for now....

Camber 1.2 front 2.3 rear
Toe 0.02 out front 0.3 in rear

I'm booked in 8.30 on the 24th with Mark in Banchory

A tad worrying I didn't get ur reply :-/
Steve Butts says he just 'tightened' em too, so I should be fine. Will have a feel about the morrow just to double check

Put some break pad buffer things on the front pads while I had the whels off, seemed to improve rattle/squeel at first but now the rears are soundin noisy as fook.... course maybe thats just cause I can hear em over the fronts now ! ! ?
