Dammit - I'd have been well up for jumping in on this, but that's the day Elaine is having her birthday thang - otherwise occupied all day :(

We'll probably be continuing on the sunday if you fancy it? Recon it will be saturday for a relaxed strip and sunday for a relaxed rebuild. Probably take some photos along the way too....

We'll see what happens - odds on I'll be waaaaaaay too wankered on Saturday night to even contemplate driving anywhere on Sunday. Stranger things have happened though.

My head is being stripped down just now to go away for pressure testing... could be terminal... Think the £500 budget on the AA waranty will be well busted after this one. Just hope Dan can find a decent head to replace it with if it is knackered.

I think there are two likely outcomes...

1. I end up with a car with a std 120 head on it and me not being a happy bunny...

2. I end up with a car with an "improved" head and me being a very happy bunny....

p.s. my central heating has broken down and the toilet seat has broken...... guess where my luck is heading this month
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Right, thats me finished collecting the tools for tomorrows operation. Looks like it will be tomorrow for the strip down, sunday for the skim and head rebuild and monday to stick it all back on the car.

The marlboro are not there by accident. Angle grinder and blowtorch are optional extras.... hopefully

Nope - I'm still waiting for the arrival of the Weegie. Was planned for a 10am start.

I've move to G72 9NE (house no 101) if your wanting to pop over Robin.
