What year is your liz? Mine's a 2002 and after a bit of

it went straight on.
MMC will probably be able to sort it but best remortgage your house first
Hope you get it sorted

Surely there's someone in Glasgow that would fit it for you, to save you going to MMC! It's a 5minute job.
I'd offer but I'm in Jersey this week!

What you are wearing shouldn't affect your ability to fit a wiper arm

LOL!!
Mine is a 2001... it just really doesn't look like the same fitting! The new blade has a clip attachment but my wiper arm seems to have a bolt through it to connect it to the wiper blade.....
MMC are calling me back with prices to fit the new arm, i need a new one anyway to be honest...

I find it a bit restrictive - maybe a T-shirt would be better!

Briggy is right on this one - this
blade won't fit the early
arm. It used a pin and clip arrangement. You could just buy the arm as a part and bolt it on yourself (or with assistance from one of us

)
It's an easy job - only tricky bit is getting the arm to line up right.

I know what you mean mate. When i first looked at it i though 'hold on, that's bolted' and was about to reach for a hammer when i just pushed it a different way and it popped out. I think i pushed it towards the bonnet. Once the thing was off it all made sense. That extra bit of plastic that came with the blade is in the cupboard. No idea what it is
