Disks are shiney all round, bed in procedure seems to have improved things a bit but could be cos they are hot.

Any idea how long it will take to completely drain and refill the brake system? Is it worth draining the clutch line too? I'm thinking as the system will be empty maybe SS hoses and the clutch line?

Not too worried about the brake lines but the clutch line scares me a bit... I have visions of the thing snapping half way down the sill

I don't mind long jobs as long as I'm not going to do any permanent damage :)

Any suggestions?

Do you intend replacing the fluid with mineral fluid or silicone?
If you are doing a straight replacement with mineral fluid then get yourself and easy bleed system. The easy bleed system will force fresh fluid through the pipes and will ensure that no air is introduced. What you do is use the air in the "spare" tyre to push fresh fluid through the system. You simply open each bleed nipple in turn and let the fluid run through untill it runs clean, while ensuring that the easy bleed bottle remains filled.
If you intend to replace the flexi pipes then this is more of a problem as you wil be messing with the system integrity but i would still recomend the easy bleed purchase.

Have fun

Easy-bleed definatly on the shopping list! :)

I was going to go for the flexis and drain the whole lot. Is this not a good idea? I have see a few how-to type things on the subject and it doesn't seem particually hard to do... (Famous last words! )

The handbook says DOT 4 non-mineral (Silicone I assume?) Any ideas on brands & types? :scratch
