You're welcome.

If I'm going to change a nearly new set throw that cash down the drain.. I'm taking you with me!

Thinking about the Pagid 14s now. Tried the 42s before but always found the pedal went soft after a few sessions. Loved the performance of the CLs so hoping 14s are more like that than the 42s. They're going to get a fair amount of punishment on Frolic.

Not changing the discs though so the pads will just have to deal with that.

2-eleven currently has RC6 front and RC8 rear but it does predominantly track work.

I'd stick with Pagid for day to day road use.

Anyone had any experience of issues with discs after moving from CL5s to a.n.other pad?

Keeping the CL5s on just now but always like to have a spare set of pads. Thinking performance friction or pagid RS14s still. Heard rumours of problems mixing pads like that on the same set of discs.

Anyone?

You looking for spares for Frolic? I'm just about to take a set of CL5+ off that have only been on the car for about 100 miles. Was going to keep as spares but would sell. Need to fund other parts. :-)

EDIT: remembering correctly the rears are a little older but same thing goes. :-)

Definately not, love them, and while you do get some material pitting, I've not had a backplate failure and I love the performance. I just fitted a set then realised I needed new disks. Best to fit a fresh set on lovely fresh disks for best results so was just going to keep them as a spare. I very nearly went to CL6, but was a little weary of how agressive they are and that I was only just getting to the limit of the CL5+ on the elise (gas buffeting at Oulton :) ). I'll see how I go on the Exige until I feel I need more. :)

I have a complete set of RC6 pads for sale. They have sat in my office for a few years because I moved on to bigger stoppers.

I will bring them to Zandy, someone is bound to have done the usual SE poor preparation :D maybe get a distress purchase sale.....................

If you switch pad compounds on the disks, make sure you give them a light sand with some emery paper. This will remove the old compound so the new type can transfer correctly. If you do that, all will be well. :thumbsup
