Yup - but it's still filtering... The foams have a tendency to break up if you neglect them - not that great :shock:

Definately worth paying a lot of attention to them after the state my pipercross was in when it came out!

Yeah, you have to do the same with mine. Pain in the arse, but really worth it. Take it you went K&N to avoid any worries about the foam filter breaking up? I think my pipercross will be getting replaced with a big bore K&N at some stage....
Hurricane you could do at the petrol station...take it off and use the air hose to blast the sh*t out from the inside. :)
2 clips a literally a 5min job.

I've got an ITG, couldn't find the cleaning kit so bought a K&N kit (Halfords & Autosave - cheaper, sell them) seems to have worked okay. Well, the filter get's dirty but the hose into the plenum stays dust free - it wasn't before...
