Paul Wilkins from Dastek wrote:Hi John,
Good to see you again. I would hold this as a Dyno day on a Saturday morning. The Dyno day starts at 8.45am and runs until it has finished. I require a minimum of 15 cars for a dyno day and a maximum of around 40.
The pricing structure is as follows,
15-20 cars £35 per car
21+ car £30 per car.
Each car will have 2 runs recorded back to back with a laminated print out of torque and bhp @ the flywheel.
The days are usually really good as long as the club get’s a good turn out. Do you have a forum you are on that I can have a look at?
Anyway here is a picture of our Dyno Cell with my Subaru on it. We have just finished tiling it and looks the part. Probably one of the best Dyno set up’s in the UK.
I will let you know of dates shortly.
Regards,
Paul Wilkins

Top tip - don't be in the dyno cell at the same time as my car....
Last time I was there on Maxsports - as well as running so rich I almost gassed the crowd (not an issue this time) the maxies screamed so hard that even with earplugs in and your hands clamped over your ears, it actually hurt!!!
On a quieter set of rollers in Aberdeen, I actually measured the sound coming off them at over 130db.
That's loud........
