But it will feel like 12p when you find out what Lotus ask for it

(Actually, I've never bought one from Lotus or any of the elise parts places, so I don't know that for a fact, but why let the facts stand in the way of a good yarn, eh?)
Cheers,
Robin

Lol! Absolutely.
I've never bought one from Lotus either. First time I pulled one out I noticed the Ford part number and popped down to the local dealer with it.
They fit everything from escorts to transits.

Maybe I haven't been as lucky as I once thought.
When I start the car the battery warning light comes on, but when I rev it a couple of times it goes off.
I will stick a meter on it (if I can get in) and see what it's putting out, what should I be looking for ?

Do you prefer driving the car or tinkering with it?

I am going to rewire this in with a maxi fuse holder and 80 amp maxi fuse, That will entail replacing the cable and re routing it to the back of the boot similar to the S2 K series cars.
anyone know what type of cable I should be using ? and where to get the electrical bits and bobs online is best as I am a busy chap and all
