was my worry too we abused the life out of the car up until we got some police attention :D

so it's back to plan paint :D

Rob, aye..... All i can say is that the coolant gas that I tested "at the time" was hydrocarbon free ;) I should have picked up a marginal failure from the little bit of mayo on the coolant cap, but thats a different kind of HGF that the sniffer test wouldn't necessarily pick up and I thought it could be caused from the OAT / MEG mixing :oops:

Nizzy, you do have air in the system, so best move from here is to fully bleed out the coolant and see how you go... If the same thing happens again? Well, we'll deal with that if it happens :) Certainly nothing on the road test or the coolant sniffer that was out of the ordinary for a system with a bit of air in it. :thumbsup
