Scott did you get it all sorted out now?

I have just changed my brake fluid (Only 3 weeks late ) after boiling it round KH. It was nasty, this is what it looked like:

Yes it really is dark brown.

I'm now going to stop fannying around and go for a hoon

Hmmm... cheers for the offer :) Oh that reminds me... do you think this nipple is going to cause a problem. I'm hoping one of those and the pipe at the bottom can be bought seperate :?

It's been like this since I got the car and doesn't seem to cause a probem. Both problems are on the same caliper (front right) by the way.

Gone a bit crazy w the red arrows there :D

cheers

Scott

The nipple shouldn't be a problem, should be a motor factors effort. The lower pipe could be, I don't think spares are available for them, but if it still works ok and you get even wear then leave it be. You might want to contact Geary at eliseparts see if he has an old caliper lying about.

You can easily replace the pipe with a copper one.

I've got some brass that will probably fit, but how do you make the connecitons? Prolly need a flaring tool but t's really small.

It's a standard brake flare is it not? most car accessory shops will do it.
