Don't hold your breath for a stalling fix - last I heard was about BruceW on SELOC & the BBS, who has been told by his dealer that it's a 'characteristic of the toyota engine with a lighter flywheel'

I think there's an adjustment to the throttle stop to avoid stalling - I'll see if I can find the service bulletin

That makes sense, I expected it to be much the same as the CTR engine but the revs drop away much faster on the Toyota engine. Doesn't bother me. Waiting to see if I will bother with the brake peddle tweak, I actually found it fairly easy to heal & toe on the weekend run.

Oh no - 30-odd grand cars should not 'just stall'. Lotus are trying to weasel out of it and shouldn't be allowed!

It's dangerous for one - we're talking about at roundabouts and the like!

Took it in to MMC at lunch.
Had made an appointment and they where on lunch
Neways, Ali very kindly nipped out, fixed the window, diagnosed the rattle and fixed my annoying squeeky stearing wheel(which i had forgotten about). Re the stalling think its only bad when parking so ill see how that goes. Hes got to order a few things but overall top job!
