New Keyfob

Post by jimbo » Sun May 25, 2014 8:10 pm

I've only got the one Cobra Keyfob, no touch key and no actual alarm documentation. Is it possible to get new ones? I know you can buy the spare fob cases for next to nothing but I want the internals too.

I'M sure Craig will be able to sort you out! However I'm sure the immobiliser thing lived in the coin holder thing when I had it? :thumbsup

Just bought one off Elise Shop with the internals included. He had to order it in from somewhere though so worth checking if there's a cheaper source.

Hi Tut, who's luca?

Mark - Don't remember seeing anything in the coin holder mate, and they're long since cleared out

The fobs need to be coded. Its a doddle if you have the touch key but if you don't you need to find a garage with a cobra " jolly programmer ". Let me know if you find one. Any old key can be programmed do just buy one from eBay

Got this new fob to replace the crap current one, came from Cobra dealer in America. Bit pricey given it's just a shell, but the "offset ballsack" original is just a bit embarrassing if you ask me.

Gonna get a second original one with internals from ebay and keep it as a spare.
