speaker cable

I have new rear speakers to fit, which have spring loaded terminals, one black and one red. The existing wiring is 2 wires, black and white, and black and grey. Can someone tell me which wire should go to which terminal?

Doesn't matter so long as they are the same on each speaker. Try it both ways as one may sound better, all it does is shift the phase of the speaker.

Black negative.

Steve, black and white is the negative, but doesn't make a great deal of difference especially in an Elise.
