flickering '!' on dash when caning it

cars just been serviced and mot'd. since it came back from the service the ! warning light has been flickering. pretty much only while bouncing through bumpy corners or hard acceleration over bumps. thought it was maybe the handbrake switch as i noticed the handbrake cables have been tightened. however, it appears the ! doesnt come on with the handbrake at all!

ant ideas?

Sounds like your brake fluid level might be a little low.

It's your handbrake warning switch cabling the light doesn't come on with the switch, because the wires have been chopped somewhere and now they only come on when the severed end touches the chassis, somewhere?

ive topped it up. will know tomorrow if thats sorted it although i suspect robin may be onto something. bit coincidental that the handbrake switch isnt bring the light on

might be pathetic tut but i have to agree. Honda rules!

well looks like it was just the level and the handbrake switch is a different issue. cheers for the help

Get a length of wire and short the two contacts of the switch together on the handbrake switch. (the bit where the cables attach to it) if the light goes on and off, it's the switch, it might just need set up though as quite pernickety. (see thread about 5 topics below)
