Sanj, a while since I sold my e46 330d so I can't remember exact numbers but I'm pretty sure 1series alloys work fine on an e46.
Just had a quick look at old pics on my hard drive but don't seem to have anything which shows the offset of the winter 17s I used (from a 330 SE so not 1er but still different from the Sport alloys as they weren't staggered).
