A few bits needed?

Post by Victor Meldrew » Mon Apr 15, 2013 1:40 pm

Dan is almost done with the refurb on my car. Won't be long now till its back on the road.

Does anyone have an S1 wheel spigot thingy, the bit with the electrical contacts on it? We are also short of one of the alloy dash panels, the one to the left of the radio.

Just thought I would ask as you never know what people have lying around.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Sorry Victor, don't have either. But great news that the car is nearly ready to roll.

It's the hardto find bits that is holding up the project. Plenum to fit and wheels to be refurbished and its done.

Ok, the good news is that Dan has sourced the parts for the wheel. The 2nd dash panel didn't fit either but the supplier is confident the have one and it should be on its way to Dan this week. The plan is to get the car through the MOT next week then back to the bodyshop again for a quick repair to the paint on the sills. Wheels to refurb then back up the road for me to run about in... hopefully...
