Elise/Exige Specialist in Edinburgh or Lothian area??

Hi all,
Do you guys know of a very good Elise/Exige specialist around Edinburgh or Lothian area that you can recommend? I used to get my car done by Ali of SLS but I could not get hold of him anymore. (he is not returning calls nor replying to emails,.. I wonder what happened to him,.. I hope he is ok and can be back in action soon).
Labour charge in Murray Motors is very expensive hence trying to avoid them.
I need the upper and lower rear wishbones and also hub replaced. Will also need servicing soon.
Please advise. Thanks very much.

There rates are very reasonable now, and they offer a discount to the forum members.

I am also aware of instances in the past where Murrays prices have been lower than the "specialists".

Hi Ariel - do you already have the parts? Might be worth posting in classified as some people may have at least some of those parts lying around. If not, worth checking on availability - sometimes Lotus part supply can be erratic, especially for older S1 stuff ...

For S1s, it really is worth a chat with Craig, Service Manager and part-time magician at Murray Lotus. Things are very different there than a few years ago...

Yep, I had spoken to Craig last week. He was very helpful and my car was looked at quickly to check what needs replacing even though i just walked in without prior booking (coming from CLCM where I was gonna get wheel alignment but was advised to see Craig as alignment was quite off).

@ Robin: I had just ordered online the upper wishbone, genuine & new lotus part (savings of £80+ compared to if purchased from Murrays). I dont have yet the hub and lower wishbone,... u r right,.. worth posting on classified,.. will do.

to those reading this,.. i need these 2 parts for REAR, DRIVER SIDE, for Elise S2, (56reg).

Best of luck ... worth getting in touch with Junks (Phil) on SELOC and see whether he has the bits you need - he specializes in scrapping Lotus cars.
