Spring Compressors

Does anyone have a set I can borrow? Need to compress the springs on a set of standard Bilstein's, to remove / adjust the springs collar circlip.

You'll struggle to get some to fit that Dia of spring. I've just used two mole grips in the past.

I managed to get a pair of the standard issue Sealey types to work, but it was a monumental bodge and I made sure to keep out of the firing line at all times. Obviously, you're welcome to try mine, but distance might be an issue for something as simple - should be able to find them easily closer to you.

Take them to a decent garage and ask nice?
They'll have a bench mounted jobbie - much safer.

I bought a set from Machinemart. As Shugs says, it was a bodge to get them to work. I think the set you have posted are likely to be a better bet.
