Genuine Lotus Parts

Post by GilesM » Fri Jul 20, 2012 3:24 pm

Can anybody help, just had a big delivery of parts arrive for engine and suspension, they are susposed to be genuine Lotus parts, but I'm a little worried, some parts have Lotus labels, and some don't, the wishbones are a real concern, see pics, obviouls dirty one is old original Lotus part, and new clean one is my concern, very different and no sign of a Lotus parts label, is this an actual Lotus part, just upgraded from the original design, and is it okay to use.

Thanks, Giles

That is the correct Lotus part number Giles.

Did you get it from Pure Lotus?

Hi Giles, they changed the design on the Toyota engined cars but the actual dimensions are the same so they superceded the earlier wishbone.

They look like genuine Toyota engined wishbones to me.
