Issue with the four light switches on my S1
Hi everyone,
So like everyone else, with the good weather here the elise came out the garage for the winter this weekend
. After replacing the battery (which has shot) and visiting Robin yesterday I noticed that my light cluster switches no longer worked, all four of them!! Looking at it today further, none of the fuses have blown and my full beam head lights work. What are the chances that all the micro switches have corroded? There is no obvious signs of water ingress and indeed after about 10 mins of all the switches being enables, the dip beams did come on, although the switch light didn't illuminate. Switching off and on again, the dip beam failed to power up initially but came on after a few minutes. Side lights, intensifier and hazards still show no life. Any ideas?

Re: Issue with the four light switches on my S1
I had similar(in the vx though) when it was getting it's MOT. Each switch plugged into a socket on the back and they had all come loose and the switches just were not engaging properly. Not sure if yours is the same but could be worth a look?

Thanks Lewis, just the hazards that are now non operation
Re: Issue with the four light switches on my S1
For some reason the hazard button is the first to go, maybe because it is rarely used, and I have had to replace mine on both cars a couple of times.

mine was the same. my indicators stopped working. eventually traced it to a rotten hazard switch. just rob some from a 106 or a 205
