Toyo r1r sizes on td1.2's

Im running a set of team dynamics 1.2' with t1r's. 195/50/16 and 225/45/17

Want some stickier rubber as the t1r's got too hot on track. The tyre I'm most invested in is the r1r but it doesn't come in 195/50/16. The closest size is 205/50/16.

Anyone know if the 205 works ok on the td1.2 rim?

You will need to find the rim size on the wheel. Should be on the inside somewhere. If you have the 6.5" or 7" fronts it'll be fine. You would need to drop a section if you go out a width so 205/45/16, tyre gets bigger in diameter when you go out on the width.

Like Mike said, 205/45 x16 gives you the same Diameter as the 195/50's. I've got 205/45 Khumo Ku39 road tyres on my second set of wheels and they are fine.
