Repairing fibreglass

Post by r055 » Sun Dec 18, 2011 1:01 pm

My car is being eaten!

Image

It appears that the wee feckers eat fibreglass! I have numerous scuffs like my car has been attacked by a file... A barsteward file at that! ;)

How easy a job is it to repair something like this and what are the likely costs?

hey Ross this may sound crazy but it could be wasps or some other insects taking the material for nesting......i have seen wasps literally dig out material from wooden tables and alike.....

Wasps and insects won't bother fiberglass, they like wood/plant fiber; More likely rats or mice.

Body filler would be easiest on there I'd think.
