Post by foz01 » Tue Apr 12, 2011 3:43 pm

Anyone got a schematic of how the pipework runs up the sills, if it runs up the sills of course!?

Mine didnt have it but need to know where they would have gone, had they been there.

many thanks :)

Some definitely did, certainly seen exiges with them, or con air as it's affectionately know as it's performance wasn't great.

Alan cheers ;)

I think the capability may have been built in for non-UK S1s, but that is only a guess based on something I think I came across but can't remember where or why ;-)

I think it may have been an option on the S1 Exige, Kerry will know, don't think it ever was for the S1.

Seen quite a few S1 exiges with air con fitted, it makes the dash look like something from 1980s.

COMPLETELY unreliable source but...

If you play Gran Turismo on ps3 - for which they supposedly had an example of every car in the game to model, and you switch to the interior view of the S1 Elise, the dash has extra vents, which I've always assumed to be air con vents. I figure therefore that Jap market S1 Elises had aircon (in the same way that late model classic Minis in Japan had aircon, but little, or no UK models did).

Either that or they modelled an S1 Exige interior... :D

You are spot on - very 80's. The pic that Dom posted is a revelation, don't think I have ever seen an S1 air-con car :?
