Duralac?

Hey all,

I've orderd myself a tin of duralac for when I put the Esprit gearbox back on - I'm not sure what was origianlly used but the botls seem to have cream coloured residue which I assume is Duralac.
A question though: does it behave like a threadlock?

It behaves like cement.

Rightly or wrongly I don't use thread lock on bolts that I'm putting duralac onto.

I was thinking of using threadlock or Duralac, but I'll just go with Duralac

Seriously though, old clothes required, it seems to get everywhere, especially new bright green paint work! My dark blue boiler suit just isn't the same now and I was just dipping the bolts into the pot!
