Everything that could corrode.... even the ally.

Get it all round inside the wheel-wells, but keep it clear of the brakes and try to wipe excess off, leaving a thin film. Also in the engine bay, if you can get access to the roll bar returns (not sure you can in the S2) as they love to corrode to the ally chassis where they contact. It's good at finding it's own way into nooks and crannies, so no need to be too overzealous. If yo do the floor inside (not sure it's required on S2s, they don't have the rubber mat issues the S1 had) be sure and clean off the excess and put mats over it - slippy bloody stuff.

My bike is smothered in it for winter (lives outside) and not a sign of furry alloy yet...

Shug, just to bring your knowledge base up-to-date, this wasn't just a s1 issue. I think it was around 04 before they solved the problem.
I only recently got round to removing the rubber mats and por-15ing the floor of my 52 plate s2.

Most (motor)bike shops stock it or you can buy online for slight discount.

I buy from my local bike shop to support local business :thumbsup

Hi Leigh, bought my ACF50 from Hein Gerike motorcycle shop on Great Western Rd.I found that if you stick it on a warm radiator for a while before you use it then the stuff comes out easier and not so gloopy.Just spent the last hour down in the garage coating everything that justified coating, and that was quite a lot.god i hate that salt sh*t.Cheers,eric.

brill just around the corner...... :cheers eric.
yeah, not liking the salt either, its coating up the brake calipers :( and the disks are corroding too  poor girl.......anyway more the reason to get some ACF50 and coat her up the other areas (not the discs and calipers); oh how is the supercharged stealth elise :D
