Well the car's back after Ali changed these.
Creaking is still there. Maybe it'll go away with a few miles.
Lotuses eh. Gotta love 'em.

Re: Racknpinions sought...
does it happen over bumps when your going straight?? If not, i doubt its the ARB bushes
Re: Racknpinions sought...
On my old S2 you could make them creak by just turning the steering wheel whilst stationary - they may well have creaked over bumps, but I couldn't hear them
Another thing to add to the list of things to look at when I get a moment next week
Cheers,
Robin

Once warm, it'll creak over certain bumps in a straight line with no lock applied, yes.
In all cases, needs to be warm to perform! Quite easy to replicate when stationary after that, though, which is good.
For ref, everything feels pretty tight etc when driving, so at present it's more an annoyance than a genuine worry. But as with anything, the symptom may be the indication of an impending failure.
Although interestingly none of the *other* clonks have gone since the ARB bushes were changed. Pity!

Re: Racknpinions sought...
I think the difficulty is if you have the later bushes? Mines 99T and I've got the first design. I'm developing a similar creak so will be following your progress with interest.
