Did wonder about getting Nitrons but although the lower ride height looks good I don't want to stiffen the ride too much, and it is over £1K + fitting

Anyone know if the Europa has the same suspension as the Elise/VX and/or what is standard fitting on the Europa, and where is the best place to get replacements?

Re: Leaking damper?
Can't help you regarding the Europa, but I would have thought you'd want to replace them as a pair (I had a rear Bilstein go at about the same mileage).
I've just recently had a set of Nitrons fitted, and I'm still amazed at the difference. I was obviously expecting improvements in the handling, but what I wasn't expecting was just how much it's improved the damping on-road - so much smoother and more comfortable (to the extent where my girlfriend commented on the big difference the first time she was out in it). Much better than the standard kit

Re: Leaking damper?
Jamie, have you tried them on track yet? If they give you significantly more confidence on track than the standard set up, it'd be interesting to know.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Can you not opt for a rebuild on your dampners to save a bit of cash?

Hey Mass, not had a chance to try them out on track yet, in fact I've not even changed them from their default setting of midway, but they're MUCH better than the standard setup. Much less body roll, so I'm hoping that should make a difference on track, especially through the chicane where I always felt the standard setup is a bit soft. Hoping to make it out on to a trackday in a month or so, currently a bit tied up with a house sale.Modena Scotland wrote:Jamie, have you tried them on track yet? Apologies for the thread drift!
