Driving in Europe

Post by Parko » Thu May 13, 2010 10:11 pm

Hi guys,

Just been made redundant :( , so planning to set off through Europe for 3 weeks at the start of June (take in Nurburgring, Stelvio Pass & Monaco b4 heading through Andora to Spain... :D

How do you alter the headlights for driving on the right? Take it, it's not as easy as putting stickers on the front lenses is it?

I normally stick some token black tape on the headlights whilst whiling away the 45 minutes in the chunnel :-)

ALDI are doing a Euro driving pack just now including warning triangle, hi vis vests, bulbs, first aid kit and some other bits and bobs for £15.00 just now - think we'll get one for our trip this year.

Cheers

You supposed to remove the lens cover (three knurled screws in each wheel arch) and move the smaller level which diverts the beam.

It's in the drivers handbook too IIRC.
