S1 Peugeot switch gear

Post by Corranga » Mon May 10, 2010 12:50 pm

I need a side light switch as mine seems to be faulty, probably some internal corrosion or something, does anyone have a part number so I can call my local Pug dealer?

I found the Dundee Pug dealer wasn't too helpful when I bought a hazard switch last year, he wanted the exact part number. Close wasn't good enough, and neither was showing him the switch and asking for 'one like this please'.

Chris, I have this info at work, will get you it tomorrow if no one has answered it by then.

Chris - can't find the info at work, sorry. I'm sure I stumbled across it on SELOC at some point, may be worth a search there.

Also, not sure if Peugeot had the lights on a push switch, they may have them on a steering wheel stalk therefore it might not be a standard Peugeot part, you could always just change the face on the switch if that's the case though. I found the local dealer price similar to Eliseparts, only p&p made it dearer.

Mike.

Cheers Mike.

Might just go with Elise parts then. I was considering a Pug heated rear windscreen switch for the blank in the Elise, wired to my, erm, heated seats (that haven't been wired yet, and assuming that would work!) so was considering getting them both and Elise parts don't sell those (plus I was hoping they'd be a bit cheaper...!
