Probable New Steering Rack - S2

Getting knocking from the front left of the elise when going over bumps with a little play in the steering turning when stationary. MMC replaced the drop links but problem still persists.....

I've check for UJ tightness and TRE play but it feels like the issue is in the rack.

Wondering if there is anything else I need to check for? The car is an 06 (34k miles) so I believe it's a non titan rack therefore cannot be refurbished :cry:

Anyone recommend a good place to source a new one?

doesn't explain the play in the steering however have you changed the damper to see if the knock goes away? apparantly quite common on S2's (incl. mine!).
