I'm looking to replace the standard exhaust on my S1 Elise K series. Quite happy to wait for a 2nd hand one to come up cos I'm...erm..skint
Spotted this on the 'bay and I wondered if any of you smart people could tell the make etc. and wheter it looks sound. I have PM'ed the seller for more info but thought I would try SE for some guidance.

The only thing I would note from the pics is that the flexi bit is in the cat replacement section, so with the cat fitted there is less protection for the manifold to head connection. That might not be an issue for you though if you plan to run without it most of the time. Seem a good price at the moment, but that will probably go from 350 plus I reckon...
No expert though.

Barring the fact it's a solid manifold which would require changing your bottom engine mount to a adjustable, the primary and secondary lengths are all wrong. Both look far to long. Conventional wisdom dictates that a manifold for a performance K series should have 30-32 inch long primaries and 10-12 inch secondaries 1.5 and 1.75 dia respectively. That would put the 4 into 2 collector under the sump and the 2 into one before the bend to the cat. Not sure what effect that would have but would most likely rob you of mid range torque to some extent and move it up the rev range at best.
For a road car I wouldn't recommend fitting a solid manifold, the flexi this one has as part of the de-cat pipe is next to useless. I had one on my sport cat and it makes little or no difference as it's too short. If I were you I would be looking for a small bore janspeed/piper with flexi because on a standard (ish) engine they will help breathing a little, might even give a small increase in power/torque but will improve the exhaust note.
