Banner or Ctek charger in Aberdeen

Post by Mr Momo » Sat Feb 27, 2010 6:39 pm

Battery on the Frog may be low on charge or on the way out.

Anyone got a tester or charger (Banner or Ctek) I can try before I go and get a new battery ?

Trying to get the car starter before Thursday. Car wouldn't start on the jump leads (may have a solenoid issue ?), although I did have ignition power light.

Phil,
I've got an Optimate your welcome to borrow. Has a test cycle on it before it trickle charges.

I also have a charger, am working in the garage tomorrow (Newburgh) or can bring it to work in BoD on Monday?

Gents - both generous as ever !

Mike - as it's the Optimate and I know where your house is, any chance I could pick it up tonight or tomorrow - I'm keen to see if I car fire the car into life tomorrow/monday.

The alternative is a new Banner on Monday - I think Reids may be able to get one.

The aim is to get down to Edinburgh on Thursday - Ansar Ali, the boss of Caterham, is giving a talk at Heriot Watt and would like a few owners there :thumbsup

All a bit mad, but I've had enough of driving just the "normal" cars for the last two + months.....

Did you get this sorted?

I have an Optimate you can borrow for a few days and I'm in the city centre every day if you want to collect...
